June Ryder

Annual General Meeting Saturday, June 3 -10 am

Show your support for our Co-op by attending this important meeting. The Agenda will feature a financial report, update on grants, a report on the Solar Projects and a fire drill.

Farewell Jennie

The Ryde Co-op owes so much to Jennie Nice, who is stepping down after many dedicated years of service. We would not be in the strong position that we enjoy today were it not for Jennie’s

patient and wise leadership. Through the darkest days of the school board’s announcement of the sale of our building, it was Jennie who laid out the steps to guide us forward to our present state of ownership. Jennie made sure that our governance was in order; working many long hours on finances, Charitable Status documents, our Business Plan, minutes and agendas, insurance, The Ryder, our websites, social media accounts and so very much more. She has left us in a good place to go forward and make sure that we honour her legacy in continuing to improve and grow our lovely Co-op. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Jennie!

Fundraising Update:

A special thank you to the Garage Sale crew: Brenda Bates, Barb Hallet, Lois Irwin, Evelyn Ketching, Janet Merkley, Anne Myshok, Sharon Newman, Lois Park,  Janis Ryan, Wes Ryan, and Joanne Washburn.
