gold medalRyde’s Own Champion!

Congratulations to Bruce Stephenson, who won gold medals in Javelin and Shot Put (over 85 age group) at the Canada Seniors Games in Brampton last month. Bruce also took a silver medal in the 1km prediction walk at the Ontario Provincial Seniors Games in Midland on August 9th.

Fundraising Fundraising!

Our fundraising efforts continue to help pay off our mortgage and loans, with events and donations from friends and neighbours near and far.
Some of our community members have taken it upon
themselves to host a fundraising event on their own, as Janet Wilcox did. She hosted a wine tasting event on her back deck. Everyone had a fantastic time and $2,685.00 was raised to donate to the Co-op’s Ryde to the Future Fundraising. Thank you! We appreciate all the support, help and donations we have received to help pay for the Co-op. Every bit helps. Every bit counts.
